Pat Schultz, CFP®, CIMA®
Pat Schultz is the Chief Investment Officer and a shareholder of the firm. He provides the overall investment strategy in coordination with the investment committee. Pat is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has received the Certified Investment Management Analyst™ designation from the Investments and Wealth Institute®, in conjunction with the Yale University School of Management.
Most recently, Pat was a vice president of MainStay Investments, a New York City-based institutional investment firm that is among the largest in the industry. He spent the previous fifteen years working with some of the largest and most renowned financial advisory firms in the country.
Born and raised in the Hudson Valley region of New York, Pat graduated and played collegiate basketball for Binghamton University. Post-college, he lived and worked in New York City for three years before moving to our nation's capital for the past decade.
His wife, Caitlin, and sons Callan & Rory relocated to New Town in August 2019 and are loving the southern Virginia lifestyle. When not at the office, you can find Pat on the golf course or chasing the boys around New Town.
