Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if your firm is a good fit for me?

We specialize in people who are retired or are within 10 years of retirement. Our clients tend to be folks who have lived within their means and have built a nest egg of at least $750,000. It is also important to understand that the success of your financial future is too important to do all the planning on your own, and you understand the value of having expert guidance for your planning, investing and tax needs.

What is financial planning?

Financial planning is a process that provides an in-depth review of your current financial situation and provides a blueprint for how to achieve your goals and objectives for the future. Financial planning is a process, not an event.

How are services priced?

Our ongoing investment management clients pay a calculated fee based on a percentage of the assets we manage for you.  Our financial planning fees are paid quarterly and are based on the complexity of your financial situation. These fees are agreed to and contracted in writing prior to us beginning the financial planning process.

Will you monitor my progress once my financial plan is completed?

The majority of our clients choose to remain a client on an ongoing basis for investment management. We also recommend a comprehensive review meeting twice per year to ensure you are on track to reach your financial goals.
